Here is an instruction for one of my favorite games - Rim World.
The multiplayer mode is not so obvious as you need to have specific mode installed, latest mode, that has proved it's efficiency on all type of licenses is [1.0] Zetrith's Multiplayer.
It's important to get the last version of the mode.
All the files that you have downloaded you need to put in the "Mode" folder in the game directory on the computer.
After that, you can launch the game.
Now you should have "Multiplayer" button in the main menu.
If you don't have "Multiplayer" button then go to "Mods" and leave checked the Multiplayer mode, that shows the latest version in the description on the right:
the game after it will relaunch and you will definitely have "Multiplayer" button.
Then in the Multiplayer Menu go to "Direct" and type in Radmin VPN IP number of the host.
To host the game you need to create the game before. From the "Hosting menu you can only load saved games both single-player and multiplayer.
