Star Wars Battlefront LAN Play Setup

This guide will help you establish a multiplayer LAN server over Radmin VPN(download here).

Configure Network Interface

1. Press Window Key + R to open the Run dialog box and type:
control ncpa.cpl
and click OK to open your network connections.

2. In the Network Connections window that appears, right click on the Radmin VPN interface and click Properties.

3. Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) then click Properties.

4. In the Properties window, click Advanced.

5. In the Advanced settings, uncheck Automatic Metric and set the metric value to "1" (without quotes).

Now click OK to close out all of the network settings windows.

Configure the Game Server

1. Launch Star Wars Battlefront and go to Multiplayer.

2. Pick connection type Direct Connection (LAN usually won't work with VPN)

3. Click Create.

4. Choose your desired maps and any other server options you want and then click Launch to start the server.

Configure Clients

1. On your friend's PCs who want to join your server, they shouldn't have to change their network metric settings in order to connect but if they do have any trouble just follow steps 1-5 to set the metric of their Radmin VPN interfaces to 1 as well.

2. Copy the Radmin VPN IP address of the server computer.

3. Launch Star Wars Battlefront, select Multiplayer > Direct Connection > Join IP.

4. Enter the Radmin VPN IP address of the server that you just copied into the Join IP field and click OK. Wait a few seconds and you should be joined to the server, ready to play!

I go to "control ncpa.cpl" but can't see Radmin VPN, how to make Radmin VPN appear in "control ncpa.cpl"??
