Channel type: Relay. I reckon that's why the network got so slow for me! I make it a Pin and it takes more than 3 Digits to receive it. Minimum 350 to 700 milliseconds.

Hello I have 2 PCs connected by Radmin VPN, one is the Server that I share files and the other would be the client PC. The 2 are physically located about 50 kilometers apart, the 2 have Dedicated Internet Service of 10 Megabytes. Rise and fall. As soon as I configured everything, it was ten points, that lasted about 6 days, then I don't know what happened and I walk very slowly !! When I check the Radmin Vpn I realize that the Server Pc came out an Orange circle and in its Properties it said the following:

Channel type: Relay. I reckon that's why the network got so slow for me! I make it a Pin and it takes more than 3 Digits to receive it. Minimum 350 to 700 milliseconds.

What could be the problem? Will I have to configure anything else? Apparently the problem is on the server. The strange thing since it worked well until now that it started working badly, nothing has been touched or changed.

I hope you can help me!! Thank you so much

Hello,

Relay connection is not an error. Its one of Radmin VPN connection type that takes place when direct connection is not possible.
There  are a lot of factors like many routers between Radmin VPN and Internet,  NATs, firewalls, network topology, router settings, closed ports and  etc. And also torrents, network channel congestion and Windows updates.
Here some ways to avoid this connection type, but they dont guarantee non relayed connection:
1. Both PCs (local and remote) are placed in the same network.
2. One of PC has direct IP address.
3. Routers with direct IP have the following NAT settings: one NAT, Full Cone NAT,Address-Restricted cone NAT, Restricted cone NAT, Port-Restricted cone NAT

You can also try to fix by changing your Radmin VPN network type from Public to Private.
Press Win + R and type powershell and press Ok.
Enter and run this command:
Get-NetConnectionProfile
to define network type. It will be shown in the following fields
InterfaceAlias   : Radmin VPN
NetworkCategory  : Private
If your network type is Public, use this command
Set-NetConnectionProfile -InterfaceIndex
<NumberOfTheRadminVPNInterfaceIndex> -NetworkCategory Private

Thank you very much for answering me so quickly. Can you tell me what ports the application uses? to check if those ports are closed or open!
