I encountered an issue where my internet experienced severe delays after installing Radmin VPN. If you by chance had the same issue: this is how you fix it.
- Open the start menu
If by chance you don't know what that is, it's the icon on the bottom left of your screen, click that.
- Click the Cog Icon, that'll open your settings app
- From there click "Network & Internet", it'll bring you a status page.
- On the status page: Scroll down to "Advanced network settings"
- Click "Change adapter options"
It'll open a new window named "Network Connections".
- On that page, right click the entry named "Radmin VPN"
if you can't find it, look for an entry that says "Famatech Radmin VPN Ethernet Adapter" on the third line.
- Click the properties option, it'll prompt you for Administrative Permissions.
A new window will pop up, with "Properties" in the name.
- In the pane below the text "This connection uses the following:"
Click on the text of the entry "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)"
DO NOT UNCHECK THE BOX, MAKE SURE IT'S CHECKED BEFORE YOU CONTINUE!
- Click the Properties button, This should bring up a new window titled "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties"
- Look for the following boxes:
"Preferred DNS Server"
"Alternative DNS Server"
DO NOT TOUCH ANY OTHER BOX OR SETTING!
- If there are any numbers inside those two boxes, delete them now. Do not modify anything else.
If there weren't any numbers there, then your issue is something else.
- Click the OK button at the bottom.
- Close all the other windows and check to see if your issue is resolved.
