Host Multiplayer Game
Step 1: Install DayZ Server Go to Steam and install Dayz Server.
Step 2: Initial Config File Setup Go to DayZ Server folder. Edit "serverDZ.cfg" file and set "hostname" variable.
Step 3: Launch DayZ Server Go to Steam Library. Right click to DayZ Server and click to "Properties".
At "General" tab in "Launch Options" string type:
-config=serverDZ.cfg -profiles=profile
Close window and launch DayZ Server.
Step 4: Install Radmin VPN and create a network Download and install
Radmin VPN. In the main Radmin VPN window, click "Create Network".
Enter the network name, password and click "Create".
Step 5: Ask your friends to join the network Send your friends the name of the Radmin VPN network and the password to join to this network.
Step 6: Add the server to the firewall exceptions You need to add rules to the firewall. Open Radmin VPN -> System -> Firewall Exceptions and add DayZ Server (DayZServer_x64.exe) to the exceptions.
Step 7: Connect to DayZ Server Launch DayZ. Click "Servers".
Go to "LAN" tab. Find your server and click "Join".
Or click "Direct Connect" and enter DayZ Server IP address. Click "Connect".
Join Multiplayer Game
Step 1: Install Radmin VPN and connect to the network Download and install
Radmin VPN. In the main Radmin VPN window, click "Join Network". Enter the Network Name and Password and click "Join".
Make sure you and your friends are on the same network.
Step 2: Launch DayZ Step 3: Add the game to the firewall exceptions You need to add rules to the firewall. Open Radmin VPN -> System -> Firewall Exceptions and add DayZ to the exceptions.
Step 4: Join the game Go to DayZ main menu and click "Servers".
Go to "LAN" tab. Find desired game server and click "Join".
Or click "Direct Connect" and enter DayZ Server IP address from Radmin VPN (for example: "26.12.125.71"). Click "Connect".
