Host Multiplayer Game
Step 1: Install SteamCMD Download and install
SteamCMD.
Step 2: Run SteamCMD Step 3: Install SCP: Secret Laboratory Dedicated Server Go to SteamCMD and type:
login anonymous
Then press "Enter".
app_update 996560 validate
Then press "Enter".
Once done you will receive a message saying "Success! App '996560' fully installed".
Step 4: Launch SCP: Secret Laboratory Dedicated Server Launch "localadmin.exe". Accept EULA, set the port number (default is 7777), edit or keep default server configuration.
A window with the server loading process will appear. Do not close it.
Step 5: Install Radmin VPN and create a network Download and install
Radmin VPN. In the main Radmin VPN window, click "Create Network".
Enter the network name, password and click "Create".
Step 6: Ask your friends to join the network Send your friends the name of the Radmin VPN network and the password to join to this network.
Step 7: Add the server to the firewall exceptions
You need to add rules to the firewall. Open Radmin VPN -> System -> Firewall Exceptions and add SCP: Secret Laboratory Dedicated Server to the exceptions.
Step 8: Connect to SCP: Secret Laboratory Dedicated Server
Launch SCP: Secret Laboratory. Select "Servers" tab in main menu. Click "Direct Connect" button. Enter game server IP from Radmin VPN (for example: "26.12.125.71:7777"). If you used a different port, change it accordingly.
Join Multiplayer Game
Step 1: Install Radmin VPN and connect to the network Download and install
Radmin VPN. In the main Radmin VPN window, click "Join Network". Enter the Network Name and Password and click "Join".
Make sure you and your friends are on the same network.
Step 2: Launch SCP: Secret Laboratory Step 3: Add the game to the firewall exceptions You need to add rules to the firewall. Open Radmin VPN -> System -> Firewall Exceptions and add SCP: Secret Laboratory to the exceptions.
Step 4: Join the game Go to the game main menu. Select "Servers" tab. Click "Direct Connect" button. Enter game server IP from Radmin VPN (for example: "26.12.125.71:7777"). If you used a different port, change it accordingly.
