Insatall Slime Rancher MultiPlayer mod, or SRMP Download
SRMP_1510_Standalone.zip. Unpack the archive into the game folder and replace the files if necessary. Standalone version uses its own mod loader, not tied to any third party tool. SRMP works on all PC versions of the game except for the Microsoft Store version, so: Steam, Epic Games and GoG.
Host Multiplayer Game
Step 1: Install Radmin VPN and create a network Download and install Radmin VPN. In the main Radmin VPN window, click "Create Network".
Enter the network name, password and click "Create".
Step 2: Ask your friends to join the network Send your friends the name of the Radmin VPN network and the password to join to this network.
Step 3: Run Slime Rancher Step 4: Add the game to the firewall exceptions You need to add rules to the firewall. Open Radmin VPN -> System -> Firewall Exceptions and add "SlimeRancher.exe" to the exceptions.
Step 5: Create game Go to Slime Rancher main menu. In the SRMP window enter "Username" that you want the other players to see. Click "Save Username".
Start "New Game".
Enter "Game Name". Select "Game Mode". Click "Confirm".
After the game starts press "ESC" and go to the game menu. Click "Host" in the SRMP window.
Join Multiplayer Game
Step 1: Install Radmin VPN and connect to the network Download and install Radmin VPN. In the main Radmin VPN window, click "Join Network". Enter the Network Name and Password and click "Join".
Make sure you and your friends are on the same network.
Step 2: Run Slime Rancher Step 3: Add Rules to the Firewall You need to add rules to the firewall. Open Radmin VPN -> System -> Firewall Exceptions and add "SlimeRancher.exe" to the exceptions.
Step 4: Join the game Go to Slime Rancher main menu. In the SRMP window enter "Username" that you want the other players to see. Click "Save Username".
There are two ways to connect to the game. The first way is to use the server code: enter the server code and click the "Join" button. And the second way using the server IP: enter the game server IP (can be viewed in Radmin VPN) and port and click the "Connect" button.
Troubleshooting
Someone with that UUID already online Open your game installation directory, find the userdata.json file in the SRMP folder and delete it. Restart the game.
Not recieving rewards from the exchange/trades This bug should be fixed in version 1510 of SRMP and upward.
DLC Mismatch This is a common connection error caused by players not having the same DLC activated. This can be solved by deactivating all DLCs or all players getting the same DLCs. If all players have the same dlc or if they are all deactivated, this can also be solved by going in to the "Manage DLC" menu before hosting/joining.
Missing mod "MonoMod.Utils.GetManagedSizeHelper" Add the following to the userdata.json file found in the SRMP directory:
"IgnoredMods": ["MonoMod.Utils.GetManagedSizeHelper"]
Game crashing instantly on startup You probably did something wrong with installing the mod, like installing Standalone when you needed SRMP or the other way around. Or trying to install multiple versions on top of eachother. It is best to start with a fresh install of the game before installing the mod, and that includes clearing the installation directory before or after uninstalling it from your launcher (not all files are removed when uninstalling).
