Disconnect during online backup with iDrive

My Radmin VPN worked well with me until I have recently subscribed to iDrive service for the online backup of the computer I connect to remotely. When a backup with iDrive is in progress I get disconnected and I cannot see my remote computer anymore. That is very uncomfortable because that requires me to visit my remote computer to restart it.

Is Radmin VPN incompatible with iDrive ? Can I do something with Radmin VPN settings to fix that problem ?

Hello!

The reason why your Radmin VPN working not properly,  is that you  needed to save a registry branches:

to do this, run the registry editor, start => run => regedit
or keyboard shortcut win+r => regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Famatech\RadminVPN\1.0\Registration (for x86)
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Famatech\RadminVPN\1.0\Registration (for x64)
Find this branch and right-click on this folder.
Open Permission - Advanced - Ok
Sel ect Owner - click Other.
Add Windows user - Apply - Ok. return to the previous one. Add your user (use the Add button), check all items Allow - Apply - Ok

After that, select the folder 1.0 - export and choose where to save the .reg file, which will be the settings file.

On the machine where you are trying to transfer user rights, start the registry editor, start => run => regedit
or keyboard shortcut win+r => regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Famatech\RadminVPN\1.0\Registration (for x86)
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Famatech\RadminVPN\1.0\Registration (for x64)
Find this branch and right-click on this folder.
Open Permission - Advanced - Ok
Select Owner - click Other.
Add Windows user - Apply - Ok. return to the previous one. Add your user (use the Add button), check all items Allow - Apply - Ok
Then run the .reg file that was received fr om the administrator's computer.

Please note that two identical instances will permanently block both clients.

In addition, you can temporarily transfer rights to another participant (via the Radmin menu, right-click to select "Give administrator rights"), which will later be able to return the rights to you.

Thank you for your prompt answer. Just two questions:

1) The 1st step is on the "server" computer I am connecting to ? and the 2nd step is applying on the "client" computer I am connecting from ?

2 What are those "Windows users" that I have to add ? Do you mean the user account names on each computer ? I am asking because when trying to add my user name I get an "access denied" message.
